Date: Sunday, June 7, 2026

Time: 2 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Seminar 2: Magnetics for High Power in Artificial Intelligence and Modern Automotive Applications

Date: Monday, June 8, 2026

Time: 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Seminar 3: High Power and Very High-Density Technologies for Modern Automotive and Artificial Intelligence

Date: Monday, June 8, 2026

Time: 1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Location: Arvena Park Hotel, Nuremberg, Germany

Seminar 1 Summary: Dr. Jitaru will present an in‑depth overview of the latest advancements in AC‑DC power conversion technologies, focusing on optimizing efficiency and volumetric power density for converters ranging from 65W to 500W/1000W. Recent developments have targeted low‑power (65W) AC‑DC adapters and medium‑power designs with PD 3.1 support (up to 250W). Increasing demand for higher outputs, particularly in extreme gaming desktops and laptops, has driven innovation toward 330W–500W solutions.

Seminar 2 Summary: In this seminar, Dr. Jitaru will focus on the latest magnetic technologies capable of pushing efficiency to a very high level. A study of the loss mechanism in magnetics and ways to improve it, together with novel magnetic structures will be presented.

The seminar will describe in detail all the parasitic elements in magnetics, the loss mechanism associated with it and solutions to addressing them.

Seminar 3 Summary: In this seminar, Dr. Jitaru will address the growing requirements for power conversion in AI applications, innovative solutions are developed across various dimensions, including topology, control methodology, and notably, advancements in magnetics and packaging technologies.

This seminar will explore these novel solutions, beginning with AC-DC front-end PFC converters. Achieving efficiency levels of 99%, a benchmark once considered aspirational, has now become an imperative industry. This ambitious goal can be realized through the meticulous selection of topologies, coupled with the integration of advanced magnetic structures.
